Description:

The first class mountain radial car had three-compartments (two cross-sitting compartments
and a large central lounge). Seating was cushioned and thus more elaborate
than that supplied in the 2nd class car. It is understood that when the cars entered service
they were being painted Crimson Lake. The UK built under frame had been modified
locally to facilitate better running conditions.

The kit comprises 3D printed body, floor, 2nd roof, internal partition with seats and trucks for the running gear. The buffers are brass castings and SEM wheels and a decal sheet are supplied. The underframe includes all visual running gear and footboard components, printed in situ. As supplied, the kit has trucks to readily permit the car to be run around 60cm curves.

To reduce the manufacture cost we have designed the kit to have the printer support material left in place. Previously this was a labour intensive process to clean and remove when packing kits and added greatly to the cost of manufacture. To provide you with a more affordable kit we have left the support structure in place. This support structure if pretty easy to remove and can be mostly removed by hand.
