Description

If you are buying from the USA, and having the item posted to the USA: due to new tariffs imposed by the current US administration there will be Import costs to pay which US Customs require to be paid before we can post the item to you. We can issue you a PayPal invoice for the amount, so please send us your PayPal email address when you pay for the item. Royal Mail will charge us for the Import duty and then pass it on to US Customs on your behalf.

All items, irrespective of where they are made, now 13% + £1.

International buyers, please note: due to the fact that it has become so costly to post items to destinations outside the UK, we have decided to implement the eBay option not to accept returns from International buyers, unless of course we make a mistake. In the 15 years + that we have been trading on eBay we have only ever had two customers who have asked to return an item because they 'changed their mind, or bought the wrong item. We try and keep our prices and postage charges as low as we possibly can, so we cannot afford the losses that we would inevitably incur if we did accept remorse returns. We hope that you understand. Any import or other duties are the responsibility of the buyer. Sorry but we no longer post to Argentina – it is just so expensive.

Please take a couple of moments to read through this item's description before buying. Thank you. There is some helpful and important information.

This UK Free Post 'Buy it Now' is for a Hornby R8250 Standard Controller. We are not including a P9000W transformer. Like all Hornby analogue controllers, the output is from 0 volts to 12 volts. You cannot use this controller on a digital layout/train set. It is for use on an analogue layout/train set. The track wire has a 2-pin plug on the end which will connect to your Power Clip or Power Track - neither arre included...

To use this controller you will require a Hornby P9000W transformer (not included), or equivalent.

If you want a controller and transformer then we have them separately listed. We are offering this controller on its own so that if your R8250 controller has broken or been damaged, then you only need to buy the replacement controller, which will of course save you valuable money.

Whilst we have listed this as OO Gauge, it is of course also suitable for HO Gauge. This controller is not boxed because it comes from a set. If your loco has an electrical short, even an intermittent one, this controller's thermal cut-out will engage so that the controller's circuits are protected from damage. It will also cut out if there is a short in your track - you can get shorts in points where dirt or something else is interfering with the mechanism.

This Controller is not suitable for running older, high power consumption locos, especially if they have not been frequently serviced and well maintained.

With a UK Free Post 'Buy it Now' of just £10.99 for a fully tested R8250 Controller this really is an opportunity that you should not miss. We are not including a transformer.
