This faience ceramic covered dish or spice box was produced in France by Veuve Perrin around 1790.  It is signed VP.  It has an intriguing shape supported  by little feet.  There is a hand painted coat of arms and figures on each section.  It has an ornate finial in the center. It is a rare piece of history in decorative faience ceramic.  #E1552
