Excellent! - Circa 1979
Style is great. It is a very good opportunity to give a gift or to increase a collection. Crystal is in excellent general conditions. No chips, cracks, or flea bites. May show minor, normal shelf wear on the bottom base consistent with its age and history (Please review the images in full). Some white spots in the images or video are generally particles that adhered momentarily, as it is a very pure crystal and reflects light easily. Received by Inheritance. No original packaging.
Up for sale is a stunning and heavy mid-century modern Swedish art glass vase designed by the legendary master glassmaker Göran Wärff for Kosta Boda (Kosta Atelier line). This beautiful piece features a minimalist, column-like clear crystal body encapsulating a striking suspended cobalt blue core, creating an incredible optical illusion when catching the light.The base is fully incised/signed by hand: "Kosta Atelier G. Wärff 82/79 112826", proving its authenticity and dating the piece exactly to 1979.
Measurement: 9"(H) x 2.8"(D) (23 x 7 cm)
and its weight is 62.3 oz (1766 g).
