This c. 1800 Treen Lever-Style Nutcracker is a rare and handmade collectable made from a single piece of wood.

Made from a single piece of wood around 1800, these rarely survived usage and snapped quite quickly.

Not just carved, but steamed to bend and instil flexibility. Typically made from Yew, Beech or Boxwood - I’m not a wood expert.

Measuring only 10cm in length, this original piece is perfect for all occasions and will take pride of place in any collection.

The rich pale brown colour and unique lever-style design make it a special addition to any collection, especially for enthusiasts of traditional Treen craftsmanship.

With wear to the apex (cracking) this is not only common in survivors, but so rare to still be fully functional.
