This one is a recent estate purchase. This lot includes original vintage Lionel 2466 6466 type whistle tender body shell. This one, however, is lettered Pennsylvania. These are always Lionel Lines.. This is either a rarity or a custom job. I do not see any remnants of heat stamped Lionel Lines under the paint. It is very well done, My guess is that it is either a rarity or finely done restoration re-lettering. I am selling it as is with no representation to authenticity, but it looks real good to me and it was a special item from the factory or someone did a spectacular job of re lettering it. We got this in a sale of a deceased train collectors estate, so we had no one to verify our concerns. No breaks or cracks and screw holes are fine, basic shell is definite factory as it is stamped 1666t inside. See pics.
Part of a recent local estate purchase. Sold as found and as pictured.
