Authentic original French Art Deco graphic prints from the rare 1934 portfolio Parlons Français by Paul Iribe, one of the most influential French illustrators and designers of the early 20th century.
This curated set includes three striking and highly decorative compositions printed in limited edition on thick Vélin pur chiffon Lafuma paper:
— La Peur (bleue)
— Prudence est mère de la sûreté
— Perspective
These powerful images combine French modernist aesthetics, political symbolism, Art Deco geometry, and bold red / blue / black contrasts characteristic of Paul Iribe’s iconic graphic language during the 1930s.
Originally issued in the luxury bibliophile portfolio Parlons Français (Paris, Librairie Floury, 1934), this edition was printed in only 125 copies on Lafuma wove paper. The works offered here come from this rare limited edition portfolio.
The ensemble works exceptionally well as a gallery wall set and has a very strong decorative presence, blending perfectly with Art Deco, modernist, minimalist, industrial, or contemporary interiors.
A rare opportunity to acquire an authentic French Art Deco graphic suite with exceptional visual coherence and strong collector appeal.
