Rarity - Jerusalem I setting I overprint on 1 Piastre stamp, 14x15 perforations (Ba #21a); used - very rare as only 5 used copies are known to Bale. The overprint is type 16: open space between Arabic letters "S" and "T", slightly raised dashes; the letters vertically align as documented for this setting type: the Hebrew "Yud" extends beyond the English "P", the left stroke of English "N" hits exactly at top stroke of Hebrew "Lamed" (and right stroke of "N" just about above left edge of "Pay"), English "E" extends beyond Hebrew "Pay". Ben-Arieh certification enclosed. A similar used example sold for $3800 on a $1000 start in 2019.
