Description:
This is an ornate 9ct gold ring set with a 22ct gold Edward VII 1902 half sovereign coin. The coin features the classic image of St George slaying the dragon by Benedetto Pistrucci on the reverse and the portrait of the monarch by George William de Saulles on the obverse. The coin is held in a light-catching bezel mount supported by a pierced heart design on the tapered shoulders of the band, which is pierced with a latticework pattern. The band is hallmarked London 1987.
