An antique Japanese Shinto shrine box (Zushi) from Konpira Shrine. Features intricate wood carvings and metal ornaments. A rare historical piece of religious folk art. There are some signs of age, but overall it is in good antique condition.

This antique piece shows age-related wear, including dirt, distorted brass, and wood damage as shown in the photos. The lid is slightly warped and doesn't close perfectly, but since it is best displayed with the doors open, it does not affect its use or beauty.
