Up for auction is a beautifully preserved, 100% original 1941 Coca-Cola metal serving tray. This iconic piece of mid-century Americana features the classic winter illustration of a woman in a red skirt and white ice skates enjoying a bottle of Coke against a snowy forest backdrop.
This is a guaranteed period-correct original piece, NOT a 1970s or modern reproduction.
Authenticity Markers Present:
- Left Bottom Edge: Clear lithographed text reading "© THE COCA-COLA CO. 1941"
- Center Bottom Edge: Fully legible text reading "THE AMERICAN ART WORKS INC. COSHOCTON, OHIO"
- Right Bottom Edge: Stamped "MADE IN U.S.A."
- Logo Detail: Features the crisp, authentic "Trade Mark Reg. U.S. Pat. Off." notice inside the tail of the first "C" in the Coca-Cola script.
- Reverse Side: Features the correct original dark teal/gray-green backing paint with a rolled rim where the gold-yellow front paint naturally wraps around the edge.
