Every piece in this bag has been individually hand-painted by RegGFX Trains using a multi-step rustic weathering process, layered iron oxide tones, deep shadow washes, and oxidized rust highlights, to achieve a prototype scrap yard look that photographs as the real thing.

What makes the RegGFX finish different:

Most gondola loads on the market ship with a single-tone spray coat. The RegGFX Rustic FX process uses multiple paint layers — dark base, rust mid-tone, iron highlight, and a shadow wash — applied piece by piece so each coil and tangle has its own character. The result holds up under macro photography and layout lighting without the flat, uniform sheen of mass-produced loads.

Loads vary by bag. No two bags are identical, so each gondola car on your layout tells a different story.
