Years ago I had a bunch of Beau Brummels memorabilia that I sold. The photo shows Sly with The Beau Brummels drummer John Peterson. It is not part of the auction. Just a photo from the Beau  Brummels stuff i had.

This dvd was sent to me by Sly's manager Neil Austinson. I am now letting it go.

"Sly Stone (then known as Sylvester Stewart) was the crucial producer for the Beau Brummels, producing their debut album Introducing the Beau Brummels (1965) and hits like "Laugh, Laugh" and "Just a Little". Working for Autumn Records, Stone helped define their early folk-rock sound, blending British Invasion style with American pop.Key Details on the Collaboration:Production Style: Stone, a staff producer at Autumn Records, produced the band's early sessions and debut album, which reached #24 on the U.S. Top LPs chart.Hits Produced: He produced their major hits "Laugh, Laugh" (#15, 1965) and "Just a Little" (#8, 1965).Vol. 2 & Diminished Role: Stone was also involved in the album The Beau Brummels, Volume 2 (1965), though his involvement had diminished, and the band noted a lack of clear production direction by that time.
