Pro lock version

HB-LPL 0.8x V2 PRO is specially designed for video shooting as a both-side-locked version, which eliminates any shaking of the lens and provides stability for photography.

One stop brighter

By reducing the focal length of the lens, HB-LPL 0.8x V2 PRO increases light transmission, effectively increasing the aperture. For example, an F2.8 lens turns to F2.0. The depth of field is more blurred.

0.8x wider

HB-LPL 0.8x V2 PRO reduces the focal length by 0.8, the effective length becomes shorter so that the shooting range is larger. It allows the Hasselblad V lens view angle to be restored on the cine cameras.

Improve lens MTF

The 0.8x optics feature a telecentric design, to let light come into the digital sensor as vertically as possible. For some lenses, the quality of them would be improved after using the focal reducer 0.8x.

Please note some telelenses may have vignetting.
