DESCRIPTION

A Chinese export blue and white porcelain plate from the Qianlong period.
The central scene shows a river landscape with small boats and distant houses.
Finely painted in cobalt blue with delicate line work and soft shading.
The border is richly decorated with floral and scroll motifs in cartouches.
The reverse is plain glazed with a neatly finished foot rim.
