Cyberella lemkei – Fossil Ostracod

Representative specimen of Cyberella lemkei, an ostracod from the Devonian deposits of Morocco, a region well known for its diverse Paleozoic fossil assemblages.

Ostracods are small crustaceans with a bivalved shell, widely used in paleontology for environmental and stratigraphic studies. Fossils such as this provide insight into ancient marine ecosystems and early arthropod evolution.

Although compact in size, the specimen displays a recognizable morphology and represents a less common fossil group, making it particularly interesting for specialized collectors.

The fossil is preserved with good contrast against the matrix. Preparation has been carried out to maintain the natural features and integrity of the specimen.

Any restoration, if present, is minimal and professionally executed.

A distinctive and less common fossil type, ideal for collectors interested in microfauna, Devonian material, or unusual fossil groups.

Suitable for both scientific collections and educational use.
