This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Richard Klemm Dresden studio in the 1890s.  The saucer is 3 3/4 inches in diameter.  The cup is 2 inches tall, without the handle.  The ground color is apple green.  There is a reserve on the front of the cup and two reserves on the saucer containing scenes of lovers in garden landscapes.  They are hand painted in vivid colors.  There is elaborate gilding covering the green ground and lacy gilding inside the rim of the cup and well of the saucer.  #C609
