Elegant and imposing pair of vintage Burmese Chinthe dogs in solid brass set with stones.

These dogs were used as guardians of the temple, the Burmese equivalent ofChinese Foo.

They stand 13.5 cm and 13 cm high and have a combined weight of 1 kg.

In overall very good condition except that many of the stones are missing.

A beautiful pair of very eye catching and decorative guardians.
