Vintage Game of Squails, 19th Century, William Whiteley.

• Classic historical vintage game originally made by Jacques of London.
• A beautifully crafted set of pieces in very good condition.
• Slide lid wooden box with green decorated label.
• A Trademark sticker is of William Whiteley, Westbourne Grove, London.
• One of London's First 'Department' Stores, from the 1860 - 70s.
• Not dated but assumed late Victorian.
• Featured small jack, measuring swoggle and eight squails.
• Please note without instructions.
• There are four ebony squails, four box wood squails.
• Each of these have matching leather coloured green, red, black and cream inserts.
• The slide lid pine box is in good condition  minor aged wear, with insert for squail jack.
• All parts clean good condition.
• The wooden box is generally clean and sound with minor nicks and scuffs.
• Size of box approx 22.5 x 11.5 x 3 cm. Squails are 5 x 5 cm
