Up for sale is a rare 1980s Rockoon by Schaller Kawai KRF-45 electric guitar, made in Japan.

This model was produced by Kawai and distributed under the Rockoon by Schaller brand during the 1980s, making it a unique and collectible piece from the Japanese vintage era.

The guitar features a soft maple body and a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard (22 frets), offering a balanced tone with excellent playability.

It is equipped with Gotoh tuners for reliable tuning stability. The pickup configuration is particularly unique: the neck and middle pickups are Kawai KS-6 single coils, while the bridge pickup is a Schaller 2-in-1 humbucker. The bridge pickup can be coil-split via the tone control, allowing you to switch between humbucker and single-coil tones for added versatility.

Additionally, the single-coil pickups are mounted at an angle to better capture string vibration, contributing to a distinctive tonal character.
