Condition:

Pre-owned antique condition. Shows age-related wear including light surface marks and a slight haze to the glass consistent with age. No major cracks observed. Please refer to photos.

Description:

Antique HALL & SONS embossed glass marble stopper (Codd-style) bottle, used for early carbonated beverages.

This example is made from attractive aqua/green glass and features clear embossed branding to the front.

The bottle still contains the original internal glass marble, which was used to seal the contents under pressure.

The original internal rubber seal/gasket is still present but has hardened with age and is broken into a couple of pieces, which remain inside the bottle. This is typical for bottles of this era and does not affect its display appeal.
