While this uses the standard Nintendo "Multi-Out" plug, RGB signals are handled differently across systems:

• Super Famicom / SNES: Fully Compatible with original NTSC Super Famicom and NTSC Super Nintendo (SNS-001) consoles. Note: Does not work with "Junior/Mini" consoles unless they have been RGB-modded.

• Nintendo 64: Requires Hardware Mod. Stock N64 consoles do not output RGB. This cable will only work on an N64 that has been internally modified for RGB output.

• GameCube: Incompatible. This cable is designed for NTSC signals. NTSC GameCubes (US/Japan) do not output RGB via the analog port at all. PAL GameCubes do output RGB, but the SHVC-010 uses different internal components that will cause a black or distorted image on PAL systems.

• PAL Super Nintendo: Incompatible. Do not use this with European/Australian SNES consoles, as the voltage pins are different and could potentially damage your equipment.
