Up for auction is a solid resin 70's Chevy C10 body with production HW wheels. I believe the original pattern was one of the first 3D printed SLAs back at Mattel. It was one of a few trucks I was working in the early 2000's before meeting Steve Platt and creating the Steel Flame basic car for 2003. It has a resin cast V8 "strapped" to the bed. All parts are glued but wheels spin freely. I do not know if this pattern went on to production later on and only a handful were made for internal reviews and brainstorming. This model was in my home office until just recently. From the Mattel design center El Segundo, California.
