Vintage Italian Alabaster/ Marble Carved Bird Bath

This is a wonderful mid century carved Italian alabaster/marble bird bath. The bird bath sits on a square base followed by a pedestal and then a round bird bath with a carved edge. The bird bath is highly variegated with gray and dark gray marbling. There are four holes on the rim in which to insert the four carved doves. It looks like two of the birds are missing their beaks and on one, a corner of the tail feather. Other than that, the bird bath is in very good condition with no chips or cracks.

The bird bath measures 4.25 inches high and about 7 inches in diameter across the top.
