Parka Shell

Styling Guidance: As the images depict this shell has been adapted. To maintain the original pockets the jacket upper is tapered which appears as a riding coat / flared when laid flat. However, the item has the original drawcord and this can be used to give the coat a straighter look.

As this Parka & Accessories was made decades ago they are of the highest quality, 
before significant market pricing pressures came to drive down quality. 
Tough water repellent outer with super warm (beware of imitations!!) quilted lining. 
Metal Zipper with cotton zip pull. 
Drawcord Waist and Hood to optimise warmth and fit. 
Wool lined deep pockets.

Sizing: Oversized in general fit but re-sized to create a ladies fit Parka by market demand. 
The smallest size made by the US army is XS - see other listing. 
The resizing mechanism involves removing fabric from cuff to hem along the seam. 
The sleeves are removed and refitted to shorten slightly. 
Item is then double stitched as the original garment.
