Envelope Style with extra slot.
I assume this pouch would have
been used for holding the ration:
stamps, books, and/or tokens. 

It looks and feels kind of like leather,
especially considering how pliable
it is, but it might be faux leather.
I cannot confirm the material. 

It has one Ration stamp (sticker) on
the inside of the top flap. (see pics)

Approximate Measurements
6-1/2" x 5-1/4"

Condition:
Very good vintage and used condition!
This pouch is very nice for its age! The
color is still deep and rich. The snap
is still attached and works good! The
word "Rations" is still very vivid. There
is some light minor handling & storage
wear, mainly to the corners and edges.
It is still exceptionally nice overall.
