Pack consists of four faceplate and two pinch bolts with BLUE anodised finish.
This is the most common size bolts used in stems on road and mountain bikes. See our other listings if you also require the headset bolt which can be included but is only available in natural colour.
- These components are manufactured in Ti-6Al-4V titanium alloy which is usually reserved for aerospace applications.
- These components have amazing strength and will give about a 50% weight reduction when compared with steel.
- Ti-6Al-4V (also known as Gr 5) has fantastic corrosion resistance and will look stay looking good for its entire lifetime.
All RaceTi bolts are made to exacting standards using the following procedures and specifications.
- The Head is forged and then CNC machined.
- A Taper head form is applied to further reduce mass without compromising strength.
- The threads are rolled onto the bolt shaft to reduce stress raising areas caused by machined threads used on some bolts.
- The finished part is anodised blue to give an attractive and durable finish.
- Please note that blue anodised titanium parts are not an exact colour match for all blue anodised aluminium components.
- Compliant with relevant standards, Deutsches Institut Fur Normung (din) with regard to dimensions, thread and tolerances.
These bolts have been used extensively by European bike and motorbike racers for many years. They will look great and add performance to you and your machine.
