Inform buyers of import fees

When you sell items to buyers located outside of France, import fees (including taxes and customs duties) may apply depending on the destination country.The fees are determined according to the country to which you are sending the item, and are generally calculated based on the price of the item, the weight and dimensions of the package, and the country of origin.

Some countries and jurisdictions require eBay to collect import tax from buyers at the time of order payment. In the case of shipments for which eBay does not collect taxes, buyers may have to pay additional import fees (e.g., VAT and customs duties) as part of clearing the package thru customs or when they receive the order.

Buyers must pay import fees. If you offer international shipping, you cannot include these fees in the purchase price and shipping costs of the item.
