First in Longaberger's Amazing America Basket Series, which celebrated our country's rich culture and traditions

Longaberger's Southern Basket was inspired by the oval shape and coiled rows of sweetgrass baskets. Rope handles attached with chocolate brown leather loops replicate low country baskets

Alternating bands of Natural and Warm Brown weaves with Chocolate brown upsplints

**Something has lightly stained this basket at one end, near the bottom. I tried to show this in the last few photos, but it isn't very noticeable. This slightly-darker area doesn't feel or smell different. This has already been considered in the low price of this nice basket. Use zoom feature on all photos**

Southern Basket has a rectangular bottom and is oval at the top

Rope handles are still protected by plastic sleeve that kept them from picking up the stain of the leather loops. They need to be freed!!
