1890's era McLain Bros. & Co. Grain and Seeds and Provisions Broker located in the Rialto Building in Chicago!  The logo of the company is in the style of the late 19th century script.  There was no information I could find on the web about this company.  But grain brokering in the windy city was a big industry in a mostly rural state.
