Description:  From the long discontinued Famous Editions series.  One of the more scarce and sought after titles from this series because of the stunning illustrations by the incomparable Gustav Dore.  Book is also generously sized.  Though illustrations from Dore are used in this title, the content in this book is not the same as the Deluxe Limited Edition of Fairy Tales Told Again which I also have for sale.  The story teller is not the same and only a few fairy tales overlap from the other volume.

Condition:  Leather is bright with only light sign of any shelf wear.  Very little marr to gilt page ends.
