Stunning Greek Sterling Silver Mid Century Modern Hand-Hammered Footed Dish -kc
Presented is a beautiful sterling silver Greek dish from the mid-20th century.
This piece has a lovely hand hammered interior finish. Four claw feet display a
subtle shell design. The piece has a beautiful rounded shape and an elegant
handle on either end. This modern design was likely made in the 1970s or
1980s.
The dish is marked in the interior with 925 for sterling silver, along with
two Greek words that we were unable to translate successfully. This piece is in
excellent condition. Some of the pictures make the interior appear gilded.
The piece is not gilded and likely appears this way as a result of the silver
reflecting light around the dish. There is a tiny notch next to one of the feet
likely from testing. Overall, the dish is in wonderful condition. There are no
monograms, no monogram removals, no breaks, no cracks, and no repairs.
Measurements: 8 3/4 inches long (handle to handle), 3 3/4 inches wide, 2 3/4
inches tall (including handles)
