Judd Mfg Co. Lord Byron 9991 Cast Iron Bronze Green Patina Bookends C1910
Very fine pair of old cast iron Judd (#9991) bookends dating to 1910-1930's featuring a wall or fence behind a bust of Lord Byron on the lower surface. The bust of Byron is not cast metal; appears to be cast aluminum. A magnet sticks to every part of the bookends EXCEPT the bust of Byron. The pair has a wonderful aged green patina that certainly adds to their appeal. The Judd name is embossed on each bookend under the bust and numbered on the back. 5.25" tall x 7" wide x 4" deepLord Byron is approx Weighs approx 7 lbs for both before packing.
