Vintage Ropp Versailles tobacco pipe in the classic straight Billiard shape. This is in remarkable unsmoked condition, and finding a New Old Stock (NOS) piece like this is rare. It is stamped "Versailles" and "Made in France" on the leather wrap with the "R" logo on the glossy black stem.

​Ropp is a legendary French maker from the Saint-Claude region. These leather-wrapped briar pipes were a stylish choice in the 1960s and 70s. The leather is a beautiful tan with dark contrast stitching and no heat darkening.

​The pipe is 5.5" long.

The bowl is 1.75" tall.
