Towle Manufacturing Company originated from the Moulton family silversmiths of Newburyport, Massachusetts in the late 18th century. Established under its current name in 1882 by Anthony Francis Towle, it was acquired by Syratech Corporation in 1990.

Watson Company, founded in 1880 in Attleboro, Massachusetts, evolved from Watson & Newell and was later acquired by Wallace Silversmiths in 1955.

Lunt Silversmiths, established in 1902 in Greenfield, Massachusetts, became known for fine sterling wares. Its Embassy Scroll pattern was used in U.S. embassies worldwide. The brand was sold to Reed & Barton in 2009.
