Traditional Handmade Woven Textile Red & Black with embroidery

Hand woven red and black, then embroidered with thick yarn.

I don't know the origin or history of this piece. Has a burlap smell to it. Jute? Looks Moroccan? I wish I knew more.

It is in excellent condition. See photos. The last photo shows the only mar / stain I can find on it. Bold colors. No holes. The edges appear unfinished, frayed.  This is absolutely beautiful and I hope someone can give it a good home.
