For sale is a Gallien-Krueger MB200 bass amp head, one of the most respected micro bass heads ever produced and now no longer in production.
These have developed a bit of a cult following among working bassists because they solve a very real problem: a genuine professional gigging amp you can literally carry in a gig bag pocket.
Why this amp is sought after The MB200 was part of GK’s early lightweight series and became famous for delivering the unmistakable GK punch, clarity and fast transient response in an incredibly small footprint. Many players still prefer it to newer Class-D heads because of its immediacy and reliability. Since it was discontinued, good examples are getting harder to find.
