Time for an upgrade of your mixing vessel? Tall and elegant “skyscraper” or Empire style mixing glass attributed to the West Virginia Glass Company. For you, or, that barware fanatic you know - gift them something special!
An uncommon shape, it’s got a nicely done etch of a gazelle and leafy etching in the round. This would be paired with short stemless lo-ball type glasses with the same etch motif … maybe grab this pitcher and stay on the look out for those glasses 😊
The West Virginia Glass Company is often most known for their Mid Century, brightly colored Blendo line, though they made all sorts of great cocktailing wares beyond that line.
This pitcher has a nicely sculpted handle and a spout molded into the rim to help hold back in the flaired-out ice lip style to catch the larger cubes in your stir.
Height: just over 13.25” | Volume to top of the handle: 40oz.
Condition: Fantastic! Not a chip or nick on it. A real gem of a find.

Seller Info Notes:
Check my other auctions! Mostly selling VINTAGE stuff I
find interesting, because I just can’t keep it all. Usually it’s collectibles,
barware, ceramics, art, type stuff. Been here since 1999, scroll thru my
feedback = bid with confidence! 😊.
Shipping: For “Reasonable Shipping” cost, I never ‘make money’
on shipping that’s lame and unethical = the rates you are charged are the
actual carrier rates these days. I always compare dimensional size/weight and carriers
to get you the best ship price.
I’m happy to ‘group’ items for a bundle buy, just message me and
tell what items you’re looking at. Happy to combine shipments to get you the
best rate when practical (keeping in mind, when possible- things like a poster
& ceramic jar aren’t gonna work together heh)
Cheers, thanks for looking!
