Meet "Betsy" – A Spectacular and RARE 37" Primitive Folk Art Masterpiece, one-of-a-kind (OOAK) Primitive Betsy Ross Peddler Doll. This is an exceptionally large "floor doll," measuring approximately 37 inches from head to toe.

Purchased in the historic Shenandoah Valley (Winchester, Virginia), this doll is a true labor of love, capturing the "Extreme Primitive" or "Grungy" aesthetic that was the hallmark of early 2000s folk art.

• Patriotic Theme: Named "Betsy," she carries a handmade fabric satchel labeled "Flags 4 Free," containing three individual fabric American flags.

• Artisanal Finish: Her skin is crafted from muslin that has been hand-treated with a coffee/cinnamon stain and baked to achieve a darkened, aged "primitive" look.

• Hand-Signed Provenance: The doll is hand-signed on the back: "Made with Love ♡ Dawn 3/05.

. Clothing: She is dressed in traditional homespun blue and white striped fabrics and a red calico star-print top, tied together with a rustic jute twine bow.

Condition: This doll is in excellent vintage condition. Please note that the "mottled" or "stained" appearance of the fabric and the frayed edges of the flags are deliberate artistic choices intended to give the doll an antique, weathered appearance. She has been very well-preserved.

This is a very RARE Doll.
