Untouched and original guilloche enamel. This is in fact our favourite silver guilloche box that we are selling at the moment. It really does highlight the quality of Victorian English silversmiths. Please see photos and decide for yourself if you would like to own this truly wonderful piece of English history and a super silver antique.
They certainly don't make things like this these days.

Henry Matthews
- Henry Matthews was a Birmingham based silversmith. His first mark was registered in 1894 and he is remembered for his small silver items that required great attention to detail.
- He made a range of hair brushes, cigarette cases, frames, hat pins, card cases and buttons amongst other items. He stopped production in 1930.
