10K Fraternal or Sorority Pin

Antique fraternal or sorority pin crafted in solid 10K gold, clearly marked on the reverse. The pin measures approximately 1/2 inch tall and features a shield-shaped design accented with seed pearls and an enameled central emblem with raised lettering, typical of late 19th to early 20th century organizational jewelry.

The reverse shows period-correct pin construction, and the locking/catch mechanism is intact and functions properly. Surface wear and patina are consistent with age and add to the character of this antique piece.

The exact organization is unidentified; however, the materials, construction, and design are consistent with early fraternal or sorority insignia, often produced for members by jewelers of the era.

Weighs 3g on my kitchen scale, but this is not guaranteed as the scale is not certified.
