Vintage clamp-on, lever-action corkscrew designed for table or bar mounting. Heavy chrome-plated metal construction with original turned wooden handle and clear guide sleeve around the corkscrew worm (appears to be early acrylic rather than glass).
This style was commonly used in restaurants, cafés, and wine service settings for smooth, low-effort cork extraction. The lever mechanism provides excellent mechanical advantage and pulls corks straight up with minimal resistance.
Condition:
• Mechanically complete and functional
• Worm is straight and intact
• Clamp tightens securely to table edge
• Wood handle shows age-appropriate wear and a stable crack consistent with vintage use
• Chrome shows light surface wear and patina, no structural damage
