This rare mid-century sterling silver pillbox features a hyper-realistic "bark" texture cinched by a sculptural silver ribbon and bow. Hand-wrought in Taxco, Mexico, for the prestigious American firm Lunt Silversmiths, it bears the Eagle 3 assay and the sought-after "LUNT" contract hallmark. Measures 1" x 1" x 3/4".  At a substantial 27.72g, this heavy-gauge piece is a scarce architectural form from the famous 1950s "Mexican Silver Renaissance."
