A band who surely need no introduction to anyone familiar with the Southern California hardcore punk boom of the 80s, Adolescents may be far from the age bracket of their moniker by this advanced stage in their tenure, but does that in any way equate to a sonic calming of sorts? The answer, according to their 11th full-length Caesar Salad Days, is a resounding "not a chance in hell, poser". The follow up to 2020's Russian Spider Dump marks their second full-length since the untimely passing of bassist Steve Soto (the only consistent member of the group since their formation), and continues the band's time-honoured tradition of delivering scathing bangers, equal parts joyous and chaotic.
