Unusual model, suit Citroen collector.

Original factory model called the Electrique. Very nice and smooth to drive. In fact smoother and quieter than any modern EV I've been in. Payload is 500kgs and it has the optional side loading door.

No rust
60,400 miles.
Petrol Webasto cabin heater (original)

Regenerative braking. Charges via 240V household mains (fitted with blue 16A caravan type plug)

Top speed 60mph. Originally 55 mile range when new but now more like 30 which is ample for bimbling about town but you can always improve on that if you go through the batteries and change the weakest ones. Or upgrade to modern battery system.

These have 16kWh of wet NiCd batteries. 162 volt system. 4 separate battery boxes. The largest box is only 62 Volts so much safer to do work on than a modern EV. DC motor.

Brilliant little vans and everyone is surprised that they even exist. These are exempt from compulsory MOT testing through a weird quirk of the law but did have an MOT in 2023. Front bumper is broken but I can throw in a spare.

I am leaving the signwriting on as the London Plant company no longer exists at least by that name. It is just vinyl so you could remove it back to a plain white van.

Used for many years in London supplying plants to offices. It is ULEZ compliant. They had two of these vans.  As with a regular Berlingo the suspension is excellent. It has an automatic style gear shifter with a Park position. The range of this van is unaffected by cold weather due to the battery chemistry and it having a cabin heater that does not drain the battery.
Very simple EV with no stupid bleeps and bloops, just turn the key, stick it in D and off you go. I've been driving this for the last 2 years.

A Future classic? It might even be old enough to get classic insurance being 25.

Apparently vans are not included in this 2028 pay per mile EV malarkey. Just pay standard road tax same as any diesel van.

Here's a quick POV driving vid (copy and paste) excuse the dog noises

And a review of this model giving some insight (the sister van of this one)

Energy gauge has recently stopped working, so I just reset the trip counter to give an idea of range.

I recommend this is bought by someone with some technical / electrical knowledge due to its age.

Brakes could do with a service , I think it wants new rear shoes.

Viewing / testing welcome. You can get me on O1342 321OOO
Difficult thing to place a value on so I'm putting it on here with NO RESERVE. I'd love to keep it but I can't keep everything. Happy bidding!
