Condition – Vinyl is: - VG+

Sleeve/Jacket is :  -  VG

Notes:  A 1956 LP that mostly defies its age, cover VG, but essentially very light 

age related discolouration, minimum opening wear and a small amount of

laminate lift on rear jacket, as captured on one if the photos. 

 

Testing was done on a 2025 model Technics SL1200G  

turntable with headphones.

Gradings based on 'Record Collector' standards which are

as follows –

• Mint (M): Flawless, brand new, often still sealed; perfect sleeve and extras.
• Near Mint (NM/M-): Almost perfect, minimal handling signs, barely played; sleeve near perfect.
• Excellent (E/EX+): Played but well-cared for, slight wear, excellent sound.
• Very Good Plus (VG+): Light surface noise in very quiet parts, very enjoyable sound; minor sleeve wear.
• Very Good (VG): More noticeable wear, possible surface noise, light scratches, but music isn't overpowered; sleeve has normal wear/splits.
• Good (G): Significant wear, noticeable noise, might skip, but playable; cover heavily worn (splits, writing).
• Fair (F) / Poor (P) / Bad (B): Heavily damaged, considerable noise, potential skips; valuable mostly for extreme rarity.

Play-tested via headphones and speakers on Technics SL-1200G
