Response & Pliskin are no strangers to working together and now collide their creative minds once more on Wilderness, just a few months after launching this label with a first EP that really made its mark. 'Seabeams' is an equally potent follow-up that begins with the deep, spiritual and quietly poignant title cut before the father snares and fluid breaks continue on '3 Step' with some yearning pads adding extra scale. 'Germ' is a more textural and roughed up sound with some old school motifs and a rugged rhythm, then 'White Powder' closes down with a signature mix of low end warmth and silky smooth pads for late night introspection.
