Seller: Alley-Antiques DESCRIPTION: Antique Porcelain. Scarce early Coalport hand painted serving dish. Unmarked. Guaranteed to be made by Coalport. Circa 1820. Price is for one dish as pictured. This is a scarce form.  Slightly scalloped rectangular shaped dishes on four underglaze cobalt blue and gold gilded cabriolet legs. Beautifully handpainted Imari pattern. Thick heavy early porcelain. This is a scarce early form by Coalport. This form usually dates to the 1810-1820s. Antique. This is about 200 years old. Condition is very good for age. No chips, cracks, or repairs. The enamel paint is good with only minor wear. There is some staining on the interior (pictured). There is also a glaze circular line around the interior well that probably is a manufacturing flaw as it is like a light scratch around the circular interior (surface only, pictured). There is crazing.  Some minor gold gilding wear on the outer corners. This form is scarce and a must for the collector. Beautiful early Coalport hand painted Imari open dish. This is an excellent example in very good condition. This is around 200 years old.  Each dish measures about 10 1/4" by 8 5/8" wide, and 4 1/8"  tall at extremes.
