Long term storage in a Mylar bag with an acid-free board

until submission to CGC!!

 

This issue was bagged and boarded since purchase and (since 1990, when I learned about the superior results attainable with archival storage products and moved my entire collection into those products) it was preserved in a thick archival Mylar bag with a heavy-weight acid-free board, and stored in my smoke-free, pet-free, climate-controlled home.  It was removed from its Mylar bag for the first time to be graded by CGC!!  I submitted it to CGC to be graded and encased and it was returned, with a 7.5 Grade.  This copy, both before and after processing by CGC,  NEVER has spent a single day in an attic, basement, garage or storage unit, (and it NEVER will as long as I own it!).

Thanks to careful handling, and long-term storage in Mylar, and despite turning SIX DECADES old in 2024, this issue STILL looks quite NICE, especially in its brand new CGC holder with a Universal label displaying that 7.5 grade!!

The photos show the covers, the CGC Universal label with the issue's Grade plus creator and content details, and all the corners, edges and ends of the brand new CGC case.  The 13th photo shows it back in its CGC-issued protective polybag, ready for shipping to its new owner and the FINAL image is a screenshot of the CGC Population Report for this issue, taken on 1/19/26.
