  •  Vintage Bulova Mens Watch.  1936 Yellow Gold Filled 17j Explosion Dial Phantom. Runs and keeps good vintage time. Tested for 12 hours on its back only.  Winds and sets smoothly.  Mounted to a new vintage brown genuine leathee strap with a gold tone buckle.  Very nice example of an 89 year old watch.  You'd be hard pressed to find a nicer one!

Case -

• top - 10k gold fill plate, the case on this watch is better than expected... one small spot of gold loss on upper right lug and a smaller spot on the lower left lug

• back -  10k gold fill plate, cleaner than expected.  Some light gold loss on all lug tip sides

• crown is clean... good stippling

• condition - light vintage wear

Crystal -

  • no cracks ... a small chip on the upper left corner tip, the rest is cleaner than expected for age

Dial -

  •  Cream patina , very light age showing around bottom indices and upper right corner past minute track ... one of the cleanest original dials Ive seen on these. 

Hands -  gold tone , lightly showing age
